Clubs and classes

These clubs and classes meet at the village hall. Most are run by volunteers or by the teachers themselves, so check with them before your first visit. The days and times are as booked at the hall.

If you'd like to start a club or run a class at the hall, send us a booking request or email villagehall@broadhinton.org.uk.

Table tennis

An established club for regular adult players. It isn't really for beginners or under 18s, and numbers mean there's only room for a few more people.

When: Thursday, 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
Where: Main hall.
Cost: £5 a head.
Contact: email villagehall@broadhinton.org.uk and we'll pass your message on.

Youth club

A youth club for 10 to 14 year olds. On a Friday evening there's table tennis, table football, a snooker table, an indoor net for badminton or volleyball, a Wii, PS4 and Xbox, and the occasional film night. We often have art and crafts too, and we're always looking for people to come and share an interest or a skill. In summer we use the school field behind the hall.

The club won the Phoenix Trophy from Youth Action Wiltshire, an award for a new youth group making an impact on its community. Amanda Candy set the club up, and the certificate hangs in the hall in recognition of her work.

When: Friday in term time, 7pm to 9pm.
Where: Main hall.
Cost: £3 entry, with a tuck shop.
Contact: bhyouthclub23@gmail.com or Broad Hinton Youth Club on Facebook.
